Fertility & Women's Health Naturopath in Kiama
Naturopath Servicing Shellharbour Wollongong & Shoalhaven Region
Preconception, Fertility & Postnatal Naturopathic Care
Previously based in Shellharbour, I am now consulting from Sunny Natal in Kiama, just a short drive away. Sunny Natal is an integrated health clinic with a diverse team of practitioners supporting couples through preconception, pregnancy, and postnatal care. Centrally located in Kiama, I continue to support clients across the Illawarra, including Gerringong, Shellharbour, Wollongong, and the Shoalhaven.
Your fertility journey starts long before conception. Whether you're planning for pregnancy, trying to conceive, or looking for support after birth, I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to optimise fertility and reproductive health. By addressing gut health, hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and stress levels, I help prepare you and your partner for conception and a healthy pregnancy.
Did you know that a baby’s gut microbiome begins with the mother? Supporting your gut health and digestive function is essential for fertility, a healthy pregnancy, and your baby’s long-term well-being. This includes optimising diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors for both parents to create the best foundation for conception and pregnancy.
My naturopathic approach includes:
-
Preconception care - enhancing egg quality, ovulation, and hormonal balance, while optimising nutrient levels for a healthy conception. I also support underlying conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis/ adenomyosis, thyroid imbalances, and irregular cycles that may affect fertility.
-
Pregnancy care - alleviating pregnancy-related symptoms like nausea, fatigue, and digestive discomfort, while providing tailored nutritional support across all three trimesters to optimise maternal and baby health.
-
Postnatal support - supporting postpartum recovery through nutritional replenishment, hormonal balance, breastfeeding support, energy restoration, and mental well-being to help you feel your best after birth.
I support women through all life stages, from menstrual health to menopause, helping with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and stress-related concerns. Let’s take the first step toward improving your health and overall well-being.

FAQs
What to expect in the initial consultation? Allow 90 minutes for the consultation and additional time with the administration team for payment and collection of herbs/supplements (if required). The appointment will include a thorough case history regarding the presenting health issue/s, a review of diet and lifestyle aspects, stress and environment/social contributions.
Do I need to bring anything to the appointment? If you have had any recent tests, please bring a copy of the results or email them prior to your appointment (wecanhelp@wildabouthealth.com.au). It will save time tracking these down after the appointment. In addition, take photos of any medications or supplements you are currently taking or bring them with you. Please fill in the New Client Form and Health Questionnaire attached in the welcome email, occasionally this email goes to your junk or spam folder.
Is a naturopath the same as a nutritionist? A naturopath and nutritionist view the patient in a similar way, both are holistic and multidimensional. Both modalities incorporate diet, lifestyle, and nutritional supplementation as part of the treatment recommendations. A naturopath, in addition to this, can also use herbal medicine as part of the treatment, whilst not always required it is a useful tool to have. Teaching my patients how to eat for long-term health is one of my passions. As a society, we are often ‘yo-yoing’ between different fad diets that are not sustainable.
